Think of the college radio station where you went to school or where you live.

What does its purpose seem to be?

It's a vehicle for airing left wing propaganda, like Pacifica
It's a social club for the students
To play music other than pop, rap or country.
They mostly carry NPR stuff
It isn't ever on
To teach students about working in broadcasting
A professor who wishes he worked in radio runs it
To keep religious stations from using the frequency
To allow students to express themselves by playing all alternative music
