You hear a radio ad describing plumbers or people at water plants finding "undigested" pills. They say this is why you need to buy their better (and more expensive) vitamins. Why is that?

People flush old pills down the toilet not knowing they may not dissolve
This "fact" was started by a Chiropractor who was shut down by the FTC in 2004
All ads should go through a government review before being aired
And every plant has a huge pile of undigested corn.

Many pills dissolve only in the digestive system acid
No matter how long the pills stay in water, they won't dissolve
This has nothing to do with normal pills being bad or ineffective
That's normal for many time-release medicines
For Tacoma to have 250,000 lbs every 6 weeks, every person would have to take an entire bottle every day
A company that scares you like this should not be trusted
Radio stations do not question the claims of advertisers
hospice requires pills be flushed after death
I figure that the add is complete Bull$#!7.
Obama is running the country off a cliff and we pau attention to pills in crap.
