In California the LAUSD is giving free iPads to every student. How is that working out?

And they can't be turned off. Just like 1984.

The iPads are preloaded with event recorders and GPS.
I had to buy my own slide rule for math class.
Students will learn more from an iPad than they will from a Los Angeles school teacher.
The rollout was about as successful as HealthCare.gov.
They call them GarcettiPads.
This is a very efficient way to dumb down Amerika.
The iPads are electronic babysitters.
Well, at least all the bored and stupid kids won't be bored.
