What would be the best way to store energy?

Eat a big bowl of Texas Chili and wait two hours.
Pump water into reservoirs
Dump it in my compost heap.
Convert the Earth into a flux capacitor.
Build Li-Ion batteries the size of a skyscraper.
With Di-Lithium crystals, Captain. Aye.
Don't have sex before the big game.
Grow lots of trees
Inside the social security lock box
Wind up a really big spring
Store it in my girlfriend's new silicone boobies. That would be hot!
Eat lots of carbohydrates.
Boil water and pump it into deserted salt mines.
Convert Lake Tahoe into a 12 volt electrolytic battery.
That's easy. Earth=cathode. Moon=anode.
Create a Black Hole the size of a pea. We'll have energy for eons, or for a few microseconds.
Convert seawater into gasoline
Spin huge gyroscopic flywheels.
Wait! The Moon is the cathode!
