Why do people on the radio wear headphones?

They want to go deaf
To hear the highs and the lows
To hold the hairpiece in place
They don't know how to stop
I refuse to wear them
To look professional
Show producers no longer use hand signals
To hear callers on the phone
Kickbacks from the headphone lobby
To modulate their voice
Because everyone else in radio does
To prevent studio feedback
To pose for publicity pictures
To hear what their voice is sounding on the air.
