May 22 is supposed to be "Take our kids to the park...and leave them" day. A celebration of unsupervised play. The creator of the program suggests allowing kids as young as 8 years old to gather in the park and just play without parental interference, supervision or organization. How young is too young to be left alone in at a neighborhood playground or park?
