You're just barely getting by living in Southern West Virginia, and you hear that a coal mine is going to remove the mountain on the other side of the valley - strip off the top, dig out the coal and use the rocks to fill in the valley to create flat land for shopping centers, houses and the like.

What's your reaction to this news?
