In 1996, President Bill Clinton signed into law the Telecom Reform act that lifted the national ownership limit on radio ownership and relaxed limits on the number of stations that a company can own in one city.

Is radio better now than it would have been without the changes?

Choose all that apply
Yes - syndicated radio is better programming than what used to be on local radio
Deregulation destroyed local radio, and that's a bad thing
Why are you blaming Bill Clinton ???
If it hadn't been deregulated, radio would have failed 10 years earlier
I wasn't alive in 1996
With the Internet coming, radio was doomed no matter what
I'm sure glad I sold my radio station to Clear Channel
Deregulation destroyed local radio, and that's a good thing
Well, it did make a lot of money for the greedy banks
Hey, it was the Republicans who wrote the bill!
