<p>During the 11:00 a.m. hour on Wednesday, July 30, WRCT’s <em>Whiskey Before Breakfast</em> will feature a preview of Pittsburgh’s <strong><a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://alltogetherpgh.com" data-type="URL" data-id="https://alltogetherpgh.com" target="_blank">All Together Now</a></strong> music festival. The festival, occurring at locations all over Pittsburgh Thursday, August 7 through Sunday, August 10, will be raising awareness of the contributions immigrants have made to the Pittsburgh area and will be raising funds for the <strong><a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.nonprofit-partners.org/cii/" data-type="URL" data-id="https://www.nonprofit-partners.org/cii/" target="_blank">Collaborative for Immigrant Impact.</a></strong></p>
<p>We’re expecting members of two local bands to play live on the air during the preview! From the Celtic & Contradance side of the musical family, <strong><a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.devilishmerry.com" data-type="URL" data-id="https://www.devilishmerry.com" target="_blank">Devilish Merry</a></strong> and, from the bluegrass side of the family, <strong><a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://slagmountain.com/contact" data-type="URL" data-id="https://slagmountain.com/contact" target="_blank">Slag Mountain</a></strong>. It should be an exciting and fun way to get the show under way! Don’t miss the excitement on 88.3 FM, WRCT Pittsburgh, or streaming from this very website!</p>

<p>Guitar great and seven time Grammy nominee, <strong><a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://stevemorse.com" data-type="URL" data-id="https://stevemorse.com" target="_blank">Steve Morse</a></strong>, returns to WRCT this week for the first time in two years. Considered one of the greatest contemporary rock ‘n’ roll guitarists of all time, Steve was the choice of Deep Purple to replace original guitarist, Ritchie Blackmore, and remained the band’s virtuoso guitarist for 28 years! Prior to that he was the lead guitarist for Kansas and the Dixie Dregs. </p>
<p>Thursday July 17, Steve joins Eric Jackson Lurie on WRCT’s <em>Court’s In Session</em> to discuss his foray into yacht rock and his new single with heavy metal legend, Thor, on the Cleopatra label. </p>
