<p>Established in 2004 as a 100 watt low power FM station, WFBM began broadcasting a format of Gospel music and Bible preaching throughout the valley as a ministry of Beaver Springs Faith Baptist Church.</p>
<p>Listeners on the fringe areas began asking for better reception in their vicinities so they could enjoy the Christian radio station also.</p>
<p>“Expanding for Heaven in 2011” was the theme that kicked off the growth of local outreach from 100 watts to obtaining two more frequencies and towers where the output increased to 1500 watts and now covers the areas including:</p>
<p> • Beaver Springs/Richfield on WFBM, 90.5 FM</p>
<p> • Kulpmont/Mt. Carmel in Northumberland County on WFBA 90.5 FM</p>
<p> • Susquehanna Valley region of Selinsgrove at WFBV 90.1 FM</p>

<p>Sharathon 2025! Listen for the Trumpet, Jesus is Coming!<br><br><em><strong>Thank you to our listeners!</strong></em> Following the three-day live event held February 13 through 15, the staff and family of Faith Baptist Church, Beaver Springs celebrated during the finale on Sunday morning February 16, with special guests, The Nottingham Four, in raising over $51,000 so far toward the 2025 expenses of operating the WFBM radio network.<br><br>It is with gratitude that we thank all of the participants and volunteers who made this year’s Sharathon a great success. Listeners tuned in to about 22 hours of live programming with the WFBM staff, volunteers, broadcasters, special guests and listeners. Segments of the event were available through our You Tube channel in addition to live streaming and the three FM stations: 90.5 Beaver Springs, 90.1 Selinsgrove and 90.5 Kulpmont. <br>The goal of the Sharathon is to raise funds to keep the network on the air as a non-profit, listener supported network of radio stations. Since its beginning, Wonderful Faith Bible Ministries has provided a format of gospel music and message to the Central Pennsylvania region and worldwide through live streaming. Live Stream and You Tube is available through wfbmradio.com.<br><br>We appreciate the team of the Stand In The Gap program for coming each year to broadcast from the Beaver Springs location to all of their over 500 stations who carry the live program weekdays at noon. Guests who came to the Sharathon this year included Evangelist David Kistler of Morganton, NC, who is a co-host of Stand In The Gap; PA State Treasurer, Stacy Garrity; PA Rep. Stephanie Borowicz; Pastor Jason Mitchell; Director of Snyder County Child Evangelism Fellowship, Sandy Kauffman; Snyder County Commissioner, Chuck Steininger; Allen Tucker of Eagle Watch News and Sam Rohrer of Stand In the Gap, among others. Music was performed live by Deb Kline, Barry Stone, Faith Singers and The Nottingham Four Quartet.
